Reflecting on June and Setting Intentions for July
Welcome to July and our monthly time to come together, reflect on the month past, and set intentions for the month coming.

When I look back on June, my biggest reflection is, yes, around moving (NC —> NY ICYMI), but in the larger scheme of things, for all of us, June circled around change. June circled around embracing, allowing, accepting and surrendering to change.
The energy of June brings out change in many people's lives, big or small. Because, regardless of whether you feel like something tangible actually changed in your life (which I can promise it did), there was change happening around you through the shifting of the seasons.
While many of us welcome, celebrate and breathe out a sigh of relief when summer comes, it can also be quite a quick shift of energy. The seasons changing can be a reminder of instability and ungrounding. Change in general can feel terrifying and activating. Even if it's change that we are excited about, proud of, or have worked hard for, it can be scary to step into that change and to let something go, to let the known go.
Often, we don’t feel safe within change. We don't feel safe when there's something unknown, or that feels out of control, or different than what we expected.
Any change, good or bad, brings mixed feelings - change inevitably means letting something go, and there is loss and grief in that. We need to let ourselves feel all of those emotions. We have to know how to sit with the discomfort that change can bring so that we can sift through and ask - is this really not safe for me? Or do I just need to learn how to find safety within myself? How to source safety and get rooted and grounded within myself?
This takes a lot of practice and faith and support, but it is so important to know that we can always source safety within ourselves, that we have the tools and self belief to move through whatever comes our way.
When change happens and we feel that ungrounded, out of control, unsafe feeling, we can often turn to reactivity and control. But, we can tune back into ourselves and release this need to control by letting ourselves be guided by our intuition.
When we tune into our intuition, allow our intuition to form our intentions, and take the next step from that space, we can trust that the change unfolding is the change needed for us to get to where we want to go.
What change occurred for you in June? What lessons did you learn from this process of change?
What was the hardest part for you? What surprised you? What were you avoiding? What felt unsafe? What felt ungrounded? How did you handle that? What self doubt came up? Why?
How did you respond to that self doubt? How can you tune back into your intuition and your intentions and trust them? How can you lean into faith and let self doubt and fear be a catalyst for deeper self awareness, understanding and trust?
That leads us to our intentions for July —-
INTUITION -> INTENTION -> IMPACT.
To let our intuition inform our intentions and let that impact our actions.
To trust that our intuition and our intentions will pave our unique path, even if we don't have clarity, have no idea what's going on, how it's going to happen, or what's going to happen, or when it's going to happen.
As long as we keep taking those steps of faith, guided by our intentions and intuition, it will happen.
That is a perfect ritual for the summer - a continuous check in between our intuition leading to our intentions, leading to our actions/impact on the world.
We know we are always in alignment when we’re living from that deep rooted place within us, guided by our intuition.
